Asian Paints Nepal concluded the 13th edition of the Kaleidoscope All Nepal Architecture & Interior Design Competition 2025-26 with an award ceremony held at Aloft by Marriott, Thamel, on 26 Ashadh 2083. In its 13th edition of the Kaleidoscope all Nepal Architecture and Interior design competition awards the winners of National Level design competition winners and The thesis Toppers from architecture colleges from all over the country.
Design competition Entries were evaluated through a multi-stage jury process involving senior architects, SONA representatives, and DUDBC officials. The Top 12 finalists were recognized for their design excellence, while the top three participants received trophies, certificates, and cash prizes.
Purushottam Ghimire from IOE, Thapathali Campus was announced as the winner of Kaleidoscope 202526. Suman B.K. from IOE, Purwanchal Campus secured the first runner-up position, while Aditi Rijal from Himalaya College of Engineering was named second runner-up.
Alongside the design competition winners, Asian paints awarded Thesis toppers from architecture colleges from all over the country recognizing their academic excellence throughout their 5 years of architectural journey.
A key moment of the ceremony was the presentation of the winning proposal through a detailed 3D model, followed by the formal handover of the winning design to the Department of Urban Development and Building Construction (DUDBC). The gesture highlighted the competition’s objective of encouraging ideas with real-world relevance while strengthening collaboration between academia and the professional design community.
Kaleidoscope is more than a competition; it is a national platform that brings recognition, visibility, and industry connections. Now concluding its thirteenth edition, Kaleidoscope has established itself as one of Nepal’s leading student architecture and interior design competitions, encouraging innovation, critical thinking, and practical design experience for the country’s emerging architects and designers .
